One of the most memorable and harrowing experiences I ever had was a trip to France by ferry as an 11-year-old. It was the “treat” the top junior class was entitled to before moving onto middle school. I was timid, did not have many friends, and already afraid of people being sick. The day already filled me with dread. Who would I sit next to? Who would I talk to? How would I cope?
The Challenge
